Build Day Four

Day four and there still isn't much to see.

They had a nice storyboard up to explain the build to the audience.

Rock Star Ian laying the new diamond plate on the running boards. He left it 1" long on all sides and Phoenix came behind him and hand hammered the edge down and around to "wrap" it around the running boards.

Whoa! When did that happen? When Phoenix finally stopped talking long enough to attach the body parts Ian jumped in with the uprights for the roof. The rear struts are preloaded to give a jaunty angle to them instead of going straight up. An old windshield was dug up and cut to fit the new front end.

The roof was pie sliced from front to back and forced into a nice angle.

At the end of day four it's actually starting to take shape.
