Three things must be done to display this Website properly!

  1. You must have your Desktop Screen Resolution set to 1024 x 768.

  2. You must be using Internet Explorer 5.0 with current updates or Internet Explorer 5.5

  3. And it is strongly recommended that you have the Monotype Corsiva Font installed on your PC.

My Website uses custom, fixed dimension JPEG's for its background. This requires your desktop resolution to be set at 1024 x 768 or else the graphics will be tiled and won't display properly.

To set your Desktop Resolution, right click on an empty space on your desktop. (Anywhere other than over an Icon or the Start Bar) Once you have right clicked, select properties. A window called Display Properties will pop up; at the top of this Window, click on the Settings Tab. At the lower right region of this window you will see a section called Screen Area. Move the slider till you see 1024 x 768 then click Apply. You will see a message window appear telling you that "windows will resize your desktop and that it may take a few seconds and your screen may flicker." Click Ok, then Ok again. If you have an older video adapter or monitor that cannot handle this small of a resolution, your desktop will automatically reset to the original settings. If it does reset to the old resolution settings you will not be able to view this website as intended.

My Website uses Dynamic Hypertext Markup Language (DHTML) and Java Scripts for visual special effects. Unfortunately Netscape's browser doesn't support Microsoft's version of DHTML so you must use Internet Explorer (IE). Only IE 5.0 with the most current updates, and IE 5.5 support the latest version of DHTML from FrontPage 2000.

There are a few ways to update your IE 5.0. First you can click on the Start button then click Windows Update in the top section of the menu. Or simply Click Here! then click Product Updates. You should download and install any "Critical Updates" first, then look for and install any updates to IE 5.0.
It is my recommendation that you Download and install IE 5.5 to stay current with the latest features and security that version 5.5 offers. You will see a download option for IE 5.5 on the main Windows Update page. It will automatically upgrade your 5.0 version to 5.5. If your interested, you can read about the new features and security updates, and even download IE 5.5 by Clicking Here!

Lastly, due to the theme of my Website, I used Monotype Corsiva font. This font has an Old English "curly" style to it. If you do not have this font some graphics will be slightly offset due to the curly ends of the letters.

Click Here! to download Monotype Corsiva font. You must save this file "MTCORSVA.TTF" to your C:\Windows\Fonts folder if your using Windows 9x or C:\WINNT\Fonts if your using Windows NT or Windows 2000.

Good Luck and Enjoy Our Website!
