PRESIDENT'S CORNER

Last month, 22 people attended the meeting at the Interurban in Yukon.

John Langston won the pot - $23.00

It was great to see Ernie Light ... he is the oldest...oops...the longest, member of BLHOT; since 1989.

Report from the ever-intrepid Phil Schreck on his ride to Moab, Utah. Phil tried to to explain how this trip was the "ride of a lifetime." In other words, Phil described a 2,000 mile trip on a too-small bike, over horrendous terrain. It takes a real man to do this!

We had a great ride out in the country north of Yukon on a beautiful summer evening...too bad Tigger and Richard missed it. They were still sitting at the table gossiping when we left. The fat boy led the way, so of course we ended up at Braums. Tigger and Richard missed all the fun.

Larry Bishop reported on a fine trip through the hill country of Texas. The group survived a hail storm.

Gerald Tims's museum plans on route 66 are moving slowly. However, as of 7/23, Tigger reports that an October picnic there may be possible.

Spectacular track days at Hallett were reported by Larry W and friends. The group rode 20 minutes on track every hour for eight hours. They got their money's worth!

Tigger has taken care of August meeting details, as described below. (Thanks, Tig...)
See the Events Page.

Have fun, see you at Santa Fe Cattle Co. next week.
