Welcome to Lew and Anne Marie Kamm's home page. Why the userid "Blueheeler19"? We had an Australian Cattle Dog named Zoloft. Given the cattle dog's distinctive "blue" color and its natural tendency to herd cattle by nipping at their heels, the dog is also known as the Blueheeler. The breed can be found in the East, but Blueheelers tend to be more popular, more well known, and very highly regarded west of the Mississippi. Zoloft's magnificent life included her making 8 cross-country road trips with us, enjoying desert and mountain trails, The Oregon Trail, national landmarks from the Alamo to the Land of Ten Thousand Lakes, and national parks and beaches from New England to Florida, to the Southwest, and the West Coast. Even her last morning was full of happiness and zest and normalcy and those loving, bright eyes. And then, without any warning, around 10:00 a.m. on May 5th, 2008, she just stretched out in one of her secure spots at home and died peacefully. She was 14.

Though we have lived in Rhode Island for more than 40 years (and also owned a second home in Tucson, AZ for nearly a decade), we love touring the country by highways and by-ways, simply appreciating the wonders of Nature. Whether drawn to the trails of the Grand Canyon, Bryce and Zion Canyons, the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone, Arches and Canyonlands, the High Sierras, or the many other National Parks and attractions of the United States, we continue to embrace and enjoy some of Nature's most fantastic and moving places.
