The 2003 Pocono Blues Festival was one of the most successful yet. Near record crowd on Saturday and a good sized crowd on Sunday, despite on and off rain during the afternoon. Still a good crowd when Buddy Guy closed the fest Sunday night. In a new twist for the Pocono fest, a Friday night buffet and show was added, and the response was so strong that even before it ended, there was talk of expanding the Friday program next year (the 2004 festival will be held July 23rd-25th).Thanks to Michael Cloeren and all his staff for another first class Pocono Blues Festival.
