Spoon had her first litter Oct. 9, 2000. She had two whites and two blues. The whites were one female and one male. Both kittens were a little bit better then her. We made the decision to keep the male as he was the best of the two. Hopefully a couple more generations away from the imported lines we will meet the U.S. standards. At the moment the biggest difference is the ear set. Spoon's ears are higher then what we consider "show quality" here in the U.S. Although her ears are lower then her mothers and her son "Bubba" has ears lower then hers. The Russian Whites can only be registered in TICA and only shown in the new color evaluation class. It will be many years before they are even considered for the championship class.
