Dreamland Villa Bocce Ball club members are enjoying another season. People are back from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Washington, Indiana, Illinois, North Dakota, Michigan and other northern climates. Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday morning they arrive at 9:00 am on the courts east of Farnsworth Hall getting their game faces on, choosing up teams, getting exercise, fresh air and playing clean hard competitive bocce ball. Many of the winter visitors are back and rearing to go at it.
The summer players have done a good job of keeping the courts clean and in good playing condition. The new fence around the courts has been approved by the Dreamland Board of Directors and will soon be installed. There has already been some minor damage caused by vandals - the new fence is designed to eliminate that and keep the courts in great playing condition. The Bocce Ball club contributed $500 towards the cost of the new fence.

Don Johnson is pointing out some of the recent vandalism to Syb Gullickson and Dee McClure.
Planning has already begun for a Dreamland Villa pasta dinner hosted by members of the Bocce Ball club. The dinner is to be held on January 8, 2003, from 4:30PM – 6:30PM at Farnsworth Hall. It will include a salad, main pasta dish, French bread, beverage and dessert all for a donation of only $4.50 at the office or from club members or $5.00 at the door. Should be a great nite. Let’s all plan on being there.
