Who Am I?
My grand children call me Grampa.
My community  calls me Reverend Zehr.
My brother and sisters called me Bobby.
My church calls me Brother Bob.
One little girl used to call me Mr. Brother Bob.
It s OK if you call me Bob.
I was born during a snow squall in Alden, New York  on  October 13, 1930.
October 13  is the day that
Marie Osmond was born in 1959
Margaret Thatcher was born in 1925
Paul Simon was born in 1941 and Alessandro Farnese was elected Pope in      1534.  He took      the name Paul III.
I was a farmer until 32 years old.  I have been an English and Speech teacher at both high School and college.  During the days of court ordered integration in the 1960's, I taught 7th grade in an all Black school in the deep South.  Some other things I have done are  dairy farming, working construction with Brown and Root  Construction, building houses,  installing septic tanks, driving 18 wheelers transporting gravel and sand, flying airplanes, marrying , burying and being with the hurting as they faced tough decisions.
