DIVERSITYOur goal is to offer you a fine sample tour of Ancient Meso-America, realizing that for many, this very well may be their first and sometimes their last trip to Central and South America. We want it to be the best representation money can buy. Whether it is your first trip or a return visit, we want you to see a variety of the types of archeological sites and various other things of interest. That is why we are so diverse in our itinerary. Didn't someone once say, "Diversity is the spice of life?" (Oh, now that I think about, I think it was me! ) Like ancient cities, stone towers, synagogues, palaces, murals, mysterious tunnels, caves, observatory, baptismal fonts, waterways, stone roadways and ramps, pyramids, temples, etc. One of our last travelers appropriately put it this way, “This is truly a “Whitman’s Sampler” kind of tour! We’ve seen something of everything!” And that’s the truth of it. This has been our original concept and goal, and we achieve it! And this is how. First, we study about different and significant archeological sites, details and story settings of the Book of Mormon. Then we carefully plan each day with the maximum use of time. For example, rather than remaining at a particular site and read long, (yet relative,) discourses from the scriptures, we condense the appropriate reading selection, giving only important highlights at the particular site, utilizing the precious time for moving on and enjoying another exciting location. Then encourage our people to enjoy a more in-depth study at their leisure later that evening - together/alone. This has proven to be a very special and private spiritual time for sweethearts and /or family loved ones. You’ll love this special feature of our tours. And as mentioned previously, we leave early and return sometimes late. We fill our days, but are careful not to overkill. You’ll like our pace. And what sites do we visit? What things do we see and do on this tour in this allotted time? Well, look over this near unbelievable and exciting itinerary as we visit what most of the Book of Mormon scholars agree, is the, “Land Northward,” as mentioned in the Book of Mormon. (There is no one in the touring industry offering this much in 10-days for the price!) And by the way, after years of experience and observation, we have learned that most folks begin to tire and wear down and are about ready to call it quits after about 7-10 days. Too, we respect the fact that many cannot be away from their homes too long. So, we cram for finals! Following our daily morning prayer together on the bus, we're on our way early in the morning, and returns in late afternoon or early evening. But not too late. We really fill our days, but just enough, yet more than the others. We get ‘home’ each day in time for you to get a good, long nights rest, so to be fully ready for the morrow. We care about your health and happiness. And for our truly adventurous who chose to climb either the Pyramid of the Sun, or the Pyramid of the Moon, (or both!), we present a lovely and frameable," Certificate of Achievement," of our own design, presented at our, "Awards Assembly Fireside!" (And a very special recognition gift to those who wished they could have. No one is left out!) |
