ANCIENT STONE AQUA DUCT, spanning the beautiful
Naucalpan Valley, " I will open rivers in high places, and
fountains in the midst of the valleys. I will make
the wilderness…and dry lands springs of water." (Isaiah 41:18) He sendeth the springs
into the valleys, which run among the hills." (Psalms 104:10)

PYRAMID OF THE SUN.

Looking up through the SOLAR OBSERVATORY OF
XOCHICALCO. How did they place and cement the stones
in such a narrow space?

The beautiful and majestic
PYRAMID OF THE SUN. (Or of the Father?) See photo below to
realize how huge this holy monument really is!
|
It's hard to believe, but the tiny specks upon this great pyramid are people!
Literally thousands of them all over the great Pyramid of the Sun on a
special Mexican holy day. This great edifice is massive in size. (With
all due regards, this is not our day of visiting the pyramid.
Whew!) ( Photo

The infamous SKULL RACK AND THE HOUSE OF SKULLS. A morbid monument
to the innocently martyred and
sacrificed. " They did murder them in a most cruel
manner, torturing their bodies even unto death."
(Moroni 9: 10 .)

This historic obsidian SACRIFICIAL KNIFE, was
discovered by the archeological dig team just as we
passed by!

One of the two " MYSTERIOUS STONE TOWERS OF
NAUCALPAN." Now it is of special interest to note the openings
along the way up of this ancient stone tower. Perfect likeness as described in Mosiah
2:7, wherein it mentions the design affording King Benjamin to be able to
protect himself while addressing his people if suddenly attacked by the
Lamanites.

|
We spent three years attempting to locate these
beautiful edifices likened to those described in the
Book Of Mormon, and discovered them on our last tour! "For
the multitude became so great that King Benjamin could
not teach them all within the wall of the temple,
therefore he caused a tower to be erected that thereby
his people might hear the words which he could speak
to them…The wonderful and mysterious," STONE TOWER OF
NAUCALPAN."
|
Look familiar? Isn't this amazing? This 185 foot-high ancient stone tower,
called, MINARET IN SPIRAL, is located in the ancient city of Samarra,70
miles north-northwest of the city of Baghdad, Iraq! Baghdad is the
purported ancient biblical city of Babylon. Look how closely the two
towers resemble one another. And they should, as the Book of Mormon people
were greatly influenced in their architectural design, by their having originally
come from the near east. Thus these towers are great look-a- likes, as are many
of the pyramids there and upon this continent. Its of special interest to note,
that local legend there has it that this tower near Baghdad, built in about
A.D.830, resembles closely the original Tower of Babel.

"…and caused places of security to be built upon those
towers, that stones and arrows of the Lamanites could
not hurt them. (Mosiah 2:7).
Another reference to towers in the Book of Mormon: It was upon a tower which was in the
Garden of Nephi, which was by the highway which lead
to the chief market, which was in the city…which tower
was also near unto the garden gate by which lead the
highway." (Photo is of the second Stone Tower of
Naucalpan discovered on our last tour!) ( Alma 50:4, Helaman 7:10.)
