BTCCR does not have paid staff. Our volunteers provide the funds for dog food, fostering, gas for transports, and miscellaneous supplies from our own pockets. While we try to cover veterinary expenses from our adoption donations, extraordinary medical needs require that we fundraise continually.

Your financial donation will be gratefully received and used only for rescue-related expenses. Any donation is graciously accepted & appreciated whether it be $1, $5, $20 or more. Every little bit helps!

IMPORTANT NOTE:  If you require a receipt for income taxes purposes, please make your donation online through Canada Helps. We regret that we are unable to issue tax receipts for donations made by cheque or via Paypal.

Why does BTCC National Rescue Need to Fundraise?
Although we do collect an adoption fee when a Boston goes to his or her "forever" home, this fee rarely covers the entire costs needed to rehabilitate a Boston Terrier. Some Bostons have never been given the proper vaccines or veterinary care. Some come to us with illnesses or in need of costly surgeries from ailments left untreated. Many come to us not spayed or neutered. Each Boston that enters our program is given top quality vet care to ensure they are up-to-date on shots and as healthy as can be when they are adopted. They are heartworm tested and put on heartworm preventative. They are fed a high quality, nutritious diet and are provided with any medical care that they need. This includes antibiotics, worming medication, flea treatments and any other medication needed. Crates, collars and leashes are often needed for each rescued dog. All of these expenses add up and easily strain our rescue funds. BTCC rescuers are dedicated to providing the best care for the homeless dogs in our care. We do this because of our love of Boston Terriers and Boston Terrier mixes; regardless of age, health or temperament. We would rather lose money on each and every dog adopted than see one single Boston Terrier live unwanted in an unhappy home, or even worse, suffer in a shelter. Please support us in our efforts to help Boston Terriers in need!
