Welcome to Cherry Hill Temple, the Sailor
Scouts' "base of operations."
(Not that they have a true base of operations, but
this is where they normally meet)
If you're unfamiliar with the Sailor Scouts
or Sailor Moon, don't worry. Here's a nutshell description:
- Sailor Moon is an anime (Japanese animation) about
schoolgirl superheroines who face off against dangers to
the planet Earth, whether they come from outer space or
from another dimension. At the same time, they develop
themselves and learn how to improve their own lives. The
show is what the Japanese call shoujo (meaning primarily
for girls) and had been a very popular program in Japan
until its conclusion in 1997. The North American version
debuted (in syndication) September 1995 with 65 episodes.
After an extended absence, it reappeared on USA for
about six months but has since moved again. It is currently
aired on Cartoon Network with the series currently standing
at 159 episodes. At the same time, the first 82 episodes are
still syndicated to local television stations. There have
also been three movies which have recently aired.
This is Cherry Hill Temple's courtyard, where
you can learn something about the characters of Sailor Moon
as well as obtain some special information from or about the
series. Cherry Hill Temple is the originator of the Sailor
Moon Transcripts, hand-typed transcripts for all of the
Sailor Moon episodes and movies that have reached North America.
As I gather more information, I hope that this page will
grow and enable you to find more about this show.
