| Peace Walk - May 2006 |
Host: Cleveland Shambhala
| Cleveland Shambhala welcomed BPF Cleveland members to their meditation
space in Cleveland's Mid-Town neighborhood near Downtown. Around 30
people joined us on a beautiful spring Sunday. |
| Fred Schweig, Cleveland Shambhala's coordinator, led the group on
a silent trek through this mostly industrial/commercial neighborhood. |
| We headed down E. 38th St. towards the Shoreway that runs along
Lake Erie. |
| We hiked to a small park lost between the railroad tracks and the
Shoreway. There, among the flowering trees and the dandelions we paused
for a mindful exercise on space and awareness. |
| On our way back, we passed dozens of fragrant wild crabapple trees,
resplendent in the sunshine. Who would suspect such unshackled beauty
exists lost between the Shoreway and the railroad tracks? |
