The First Year
Well the first 3 months check up was fine like I said earlier.
I went back again at 6 months and again my blood test came back 0.00 so I
am still fine and the digital test was good also. I am feeling pretty well
now and I am trying to get back into shape as all the lack of exercise
has slowed me down especially at this age. I found out I had to take it easy
as I went golfing. I thought how hard could it be on me to swing a club. Well let me
tell you, I paid the price. The twisting and turning pulled one of my stomach muscles that
was cut and my whole entire right side from my groin to my breast was dark black with that old
yellow tinge around the edges. I dropped to my knees every time I coughed or sneezed. I learned
my lesson to do what the doctor's said after that. It does not pay to be hard headed.
So I wasn't allowed to do anything again, just take it easy.
I will just have to work back into it slowly . The doctor feels that the danger
is all gone and I am on my way to old age...
Well I had my first problem in June, My bladder would not drain
so I had to go in and get some scar tissue removed from inside my ureatha tube and bladder.
Just a few cuts and pulling at the scare tissue and all was well again. I was told this is one of
the side effects to the surgery, and once again I found out it does not pay to have any modesty
at all. Naked again on a table and the nurse and doctor both sticking instruments in me while I
am just laying there. But it can happen again as scar tissue does
grow, and if it grows to much it will block the passage from the
bladder..Well it did it a few more times that year. Now here it is my 1 year check up
and I feel GREAT. Things are working
fine and I am still a little weaker than I used to be but I am getting
back to where I was quickly. This does make me slow down and think about
life more, and to keep taking care of my self. I think this whole experience has given me
a whole new outlook on life and our mortality.
