The Conduit is basically what
you would expect. A good attempt at making a decent sci-fi shooter for
the Wii. And for the most part, it succeeds. The Conduit's story is a
stereotypical sci-fi one. The FBI has turned bad, aliens are attacking,
and you are the only one that can stop them. That's all you need to
know. Gameplay is fairly simple as well. You aim with the Wii Remote,
fire with the B button, throw grenades with the nunchuck etc. The
graphics are pretty good, especially for a Wii game, and sound effects
are nice. While the story won't last you long, the multiplayer could
keep a shooter fan coming back again and again. It has tons of modes,
including the unique and fun, where every player only has one target
and you only kill him/her or your own hunter or you lose points. But
don't worry of others, including the basic team and free-for-all fights
with up to 12 players. So if you are a Wii owner and in need of a
shooter, The Conduit is not a bad idea.-Mitch
