Highland/Celtic Formal Wear

Our wedding is not simply a ceremony of two individuals plighting their troth, but also a celebration of two clans uniting. A large part of this is honouring our shared Scottish and Irish family heritages. Many ancient Gaelic traditions and much Celtic symbolism will be incorporated into the festivities, and one of the most important of these is the wearing of the kilt, and other forms of Gaelic dress.

Does this mean that everyone must wear a kilt to the wedding? No. But, since a large percentage of our guests will be wearing traditional Highland and Celtic formal wear, you may be interested in purchasing or renting some Celtic finery of your own.
