Thank you in advance to our single guests for being understanding regarding our
limited reception space (180 people). Based on the fire code regulations at the Winery,
we simply cannot exceed this number. In addition, the guest tables are
not big enough to just "squeeze" in any extra people. Thus, to avoid
breaking the law as well as discomforting our invited family and friends, we
are forced to ask single people not to invite dates, unless of course they
have been dating for a significant amount of time, and/or are friends of
ours anyhow (in these cases, we have tried to be explicit on the invitations). We greatly appreciate your understanding, and can certainly
relate, having been in the single guest position ourselves many times in the
past.
