Installment IV
(Final installment)

In our last installment we found that the world has been following after a false messiah named "Jesus." While we realize that this fact is a very difficult one to accept by the average everyday Christian and is a fact that can bring a great deal of persecution against this ministry because we seek to publish the truth which most people are not able to receive, we must cry aloud no matter the consequences that we may receive in this present evil world.

YAHshua warned His disciples that many would come in His name, proclaiming that He is the Messiah and would deceive many (Mt. 24:4-5). We explained a great deal about this deception in installment III of the last newsletter. However, YAHshua didn’t warn of the deception just one time, He warned a second time in verse 11 and yet a third time in verses 23-24. In verses 23-23 He warns that the deceivers will come with such great signs and wonders that it may even be possible to deceive the elect!

Signs have been given and are being given in these last days. Statues will begin to shed tears. People flock by the hundreds of thousands to see the phenomenon. Little girls have seen what are supposedly heavenly visions and prophetic messages. People flock by the hundreds of thousands to seek to bear witness to this phenomenon also. An image may appear on a screen door, on a wall of a house, on a cloth (shroud), in a tree, etc., etc. People will flock by the hundreds of thousands to see the phenomenon.

Many people are presently speaking in unknown tongues which they accept as a sign that they have the Holy Spirit. The question is, if these people have the Holy Spirit, which is supposed to lead them into the truth (Jn. 15:26; 16:12-14), why do they continue to observe Sunday, the first day of the week, as the day of congregation rather than the 7th day Sabbath which is YAHWEH'S command? Why do they continue to observe a false birthday of the Savior? Why do they continue in a false name of the Savior and a false name of the FATHER?

Scripture reveals that in the last days the beast and false prophet will do such great wonders that he (the beast) will be able to make fire come down out of heaven in the sight of men (Rev. 13:13). This was the sign that EliYah was given to reveal just Who was the greatest, YAHWEH or Baal to ancient Israel. It appears that this very sign will be given to the beast in order to deceive the world because the world does not love the truth, but rather loves falsehood and lies.

Do you, as a Christian, believe that you will be able to see through the deceptive ploys of the beast and false prophet? Don’t be too sure. If you observe Sunday, Dec. 25th, Easter, etc. then you have already been deceived and you love to play the game of deceiving your own children by teaching that there is a Santa Claus and that there is a Peter Rabbit who lays eggs. You also have been deceived to believe that Dec. 25th is the birthday of the Savior and that Friday sunset to Sunday morning sunrise is a period of three days and three nights. You have been taught to love lies and to love to teach those lies to others.

Paul reveals that a wicked one is coming whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved (2 Thes. 2:8-10). Paul had warned elsewhere that the false apostles and deceitful workers transform themselves into the apostles of the Messiah which is not a marvelous thing since Satan is able to transform himself into an angel of light (2 Cor. 11:13-14).

Notice that he calls them deceitful workers and false apostles. I have already given you some indications in order to identify these people, but another thing that they will be teaching is that the law is done away. The simple fact of the matter is that these people will proclaim this falsehood until questioned concerning the commandments. Is it OK to have another Elohim in place of YAHWEH? No, they reply. Can we make images to bow down to? No, absolutely not! Can we take the Creator’s name in vain? Of course not! Should we honour father and mother? Yes. Can we kill, commit adultery, steal, bear false witness, covet that which belongs to others? No, definitely not!

Then, how is the law done away? Am I missing something here? Aren’t we still supposed to walk in the paths of righteousness? If you love the lies that we have expounded upon, then you have been deceived to love lies and despise the truth.

Paul continues, "And for this cause YAHWEH shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness," 2 Thes. 2:11-12.

Paul also writes, "For the wrath of YAHWEH is revealed from heaven against all impiety, and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness," Ro. 1:18.

Christmas, Easter, Sunday worship, etc. were taken from idolatry. Paul warns, Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: for which things’ sake the wrath of YAHWEH cometh on the children of disobedience," Col. 3:5-6.

In another place he writes, "Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry. I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say," 1 Cor. 10:14-15.

Yes brethren, flee from idolatry, lies, falsehood, from the false messiah, the so-called anti-Christ while there is yet time! The wrath of YAHWEH is coming! It is going to begin at Jerusalem and will spread throughout the world!

To be sure, the events that are taking place in the modern day nation of Israel are events that are going to bring wrath and destruction upon all nations of the earth. While these events are extremely complicated, they are events that were prophesied to take place and there are certainly Biblical principles and prophecies which can be utilized to open our eyes to why such things are happening.

YAHWEH had taken Israel out of Egypt, made a covenant with them in the wilderness and then brought them into the land of promise even though they were not faithful to His covenant while in the wilderness.

Israel had covenanted, "All the words which YAHWEH hath said will we do...All that YAHWEH hath said will we do, and be obedient," Ex. 24:3, 7. But scarcely had these words left their mouths when they rebelled against YAHWEH'S commands and made a golden calf to worship, sacrifice to and play the harlot with (Ex. 32).

YAHWEH was so angry that He was going to destroy the whole family of Israel and raise up Moses and His family in their place. But Moses interceded as mediator and YAHWEH repented of His wrath and evil (Ex. 32:9-14).

YAHWEH eventually delivered Israel into the land of promise after Israel had wandered in the wilderness for forty years, awaiting the death of all adults who had been delivered out of Egypt, for YAHWEH had sworn that the adults above the age would die in the wilderness (Num. 14:26-34).

Of course, the history of Israel after they inherited the land was a history of ups and downs first under the judges and then under the kings until YAHWEH declared, "They like Adam have transgressed against me," Hos. 6:7. (Note: Most Bibles read, "They like men…," but the actual Hebrew utilized is Adam.)

While Hosea is primarily speaking of the northern Kingdom, the fact of the matter is that both houses of Israel, the northern kingdom of Israel and the southern kingdom of Judah were eventually cast out of the promised land because of their unfaithfulness to the covenant.

Hosea says that they, like Adam, had transgressed His covenant. In Adam’s case, he had been placed in the garden of Eden. It was also called the garden of Elohim and was to be the central place of governmental authority upon the earth. Adam and Eve had been given authority or dominion over the whole earth (Gen. 1:28).

The only negative command that YAHWEH had given to Adam was that he was forbidden to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Gen. 2:16-17). Adam disobeyed YAHWEH (Gen. 3:1-6) and was cast out of the garden (Gen. 3:22-24).

Both Israel and Judah disobeyed YAHWEH, transgressing His covenant as Adam (Hos. 6:7) and thus, were eventually cast out of the land of promise.

The land of Canaan, the land of promise was to be the focal point of YAHWEH'S kingdom and government just as the garden of Eden had been. Just as YAHWEH drove Adam out of the garden of Eden, He drove Israel out of the land of Canaan. As pointed out previously in this article, Judah and Jerusalem was to suffer double destruction which occurred under the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, the first world ruling kingdom of Gentiles or non-Hebrews, and secondly by the Romans under the hand of Titus, the Caesar of the fourth and final world ruling kingdom of Gentiles or non-Hebrews. (See Dan. chapters 2 and 7)

After driving Adam out of the garden of Eden, YAHWEH had placed Cherubim and a flaming sword which turned every way at the east of the garden of Eden, to keep (guard) the way of the Tree of Life (Gen. 3:24).

The Tree of Life was really a symbol of YAHWEH and His righteous commandments. YAHWEH is the everlasting, the ever living Elohim. His temple or house was built in Jerusalem wherein was His headquarters, the focal point of His government and the entrance to the way of life. Because of Israel’s and Judah’s unfaithfulness, YAHWEH'S dwelling place had to be destroyed.

A sword is a symbol of war. Isn’t it interesting that the return of Judah to the promised land has caused a sword to be turned on every side. The modern-day nation of Israel is completely surrounded by hostile enemies who are dedicated to the total annihilation of the nation of Israel.

The Jewish people, tired of conflict, have sought to make covenants or agreements with their surrounding enemies in order to usher in an era of peace and safety. But, as we are seeing in current news reports, the peace effort has had to be scuttled and a renewed war effort has been embarked upon by her enemies. The flaming sword (war) is turning every way.

We know that the Jewish people desire to build a third temple and have already made plans for such, as well as also preparing a priesthood to renew animal sacrifices and other temple duties. Such, of course, was prophesied, but what so many people overlook is the fact that the sword was to be doubled against Judah and Jerusalem the third time (Ez. 21:14).

Thus, the prophecy that we began to focus on, the prophecy of Zech. 12:2-3 is being fulfilled, and the prophecy of Ez. 21:14 is also getting ready to be fulfilled. This prophecy in Zechariah says, "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling (intoxication) unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it."

The term "people" that I have highlighted is translated from the Hebrew term goyy (yywg) which is also translated as Gentiles, nations, heathen, etc. The term "all the people" is translated from kol goyy (yywg lKo).

What could this term "all the people" (kol goyy) mean? What organization is extant upon the Earth today which is said to represent all people of the earth? Isn’t it the United Nations?

It has recently been reported in the news that the Palestinians have been seeking UN intervention. It has been reported by others that the United Nations has plans to eventually establish their headquarters in Jerusalem.

One of the issues of the United Nations is the rights of the Palestinian people. I went to their website and pulled the following description right off of it for you to see: "The Division for Palestinian Rights works to heighten international awareness of the question of Palestine and gains wider recognition of and support for the achievement of the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people."

"Inalienable rights" means rights that may not be taken away or transferred! In other words, the United Nations is pushing for the rights of the Palestinian people to own the promised land and these rights cannot be taken away or transferred to any other people (such as Jewish or Israelite).

The atrocities against the Jewish people will continue to escalate, even though there may be some slight remissions from time to time. The escalation will not only cause the Palestinian people to cry out for UN involvement as is happening today, but will eventually wear the Jewish people down to the point that they will do anything to usher in some peace and safety. Therefore, they also will eventually desire UN involvement.

The major symbol of the UN is a global representation of all the earth’s continents with a crown of olive leaves surrounding it. The olive tree is a symbol of peace. Therefore, the UN is supposedly the one world organization which has the power to usher in peace.

The concept of a league of nations was envisioned by many in the European community in 1920. It was an alliance to bring about peace. Of course the League of Nations miserably failed in its intended mission. The United Nations superceded the League of Nations after World War II. Its history has also proven to be as weak as its predecessor in the ability to end all wars.

The United States refused to take part in the League of Nations, however, it was enticed to join after WWII and also by the offer to establish a headquarters building in New York City. A statue was placed in front of the building which depicted a man with a hammer beating a sword into a plowshare. Its inscription reads, "They shall beat their swords into plowshares." This inscription is taken right out of the book of Isaiah, chapter 2, verse 4 or Micah, chapter 4:3.

Look at what these verses proclaim in the book of Isaiah, "The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. 2. And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of YAHWEH'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations (kol-goyim [~yIAGh;-lK']) shall flow unto it. 3. And many people shall go and say, ‘Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of YAHWEH, to the house of the Elohim of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths:’ for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of YAHWEH from Jerusalem. 4. And He shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more," 2:1-4.

Notice the similarities in these verses to what is taking place on the world scene today. The United Nations is an organization that is founded for the purpose of bringing about world peace. Their supposed goal is to beat all swords into plowshares. They are setting their sights toward the purpose of eventually moving their headquarters to the city of Jerusalem. This would then be interpreted as the kingdom of YAHWEH (God) on earth, the promised kingdom that is to rule all nations (Kol Goyim) for a thousand years.

The truth about this statue was brought to my attention back in about 1986 when my wife and I were members of the famed Worldwide Church of God. After Herbert W. Armstrong had died, a new Pastor General was appointed to take over that group. This man was of Russian descent and was very proud of the fact that this statue was inspired to be placed in front of the United Nations building in New York City by the Russian government. During the feast of tabernacles in 1986, this new Pastor General held up a replica of the statue and announced that to him, this statue represented Jesus Christ.

I was dumbfounded and from that very moment informed some others that this man was placed in his exalted position in order to destroy that church. The subsequent history of that organization has proven this out.

I analyzed the situation concerning the statue and came to several points as to what the United Nations is and how it reveals that we are in the last days wherein a controversy is raging and will continue to rage concerning just who Zion is and who will rule as Zion out of Jerusalem. Following are some of the points that I deducted concerning the statue:

1. The statue was a graven image. Since we are forbidden to make a graven image of anything in heaven, earth, the sea or under the sea (Ex. 20:4-6) then how could we (he) claim that the statue represented the Messiah?

2. The statue was made after the example and spirit of the Greek artistry and customs. The Messiah was Hebrew, not Greek.

3. The statue was naked. The Messiah is represented in the book of Revelation having a garment to the foot (Rev. 1:13).

4. The statue was inspired to be made and placed in front of the UN building by the Russian government who are aetheists, anti religion, anti Bible, etc. Thus, ulterior motives are involved.

5. The statue was placed in front of a building which represented an organization of men trusting in man to bring about world peace rather than in YAHWEH, the Elohim of Israel to do so. As a matter of fact, the United Nations covenant (constitution) doesn’t even proclaim faith in the Elohim of Israel.

There is only one deduction that one can come to concerning the United Nations, its covenant, constitution, make up, etc. It is an organization that is seeking to counterfeit YAHWEH'S prophesied kingdom. The United Nations is an organization that has been formed for the eventual introduction of the false messiah.

Notice what Daniel proclaims about the latter days, "And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences shall stand up. And His power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy (corrupt) wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy (also corrupt) the mighty and the holy People. And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand: and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand against the Prince of princes, but he shall be broken without hand," Dan. 8:23-25.

While this prophecy initially applies to Caesar, first Titus (who destroyed the city), and second Constantine the Great (who set up the transgression of desolation), it also applies to one in these latter days who will appear on the scene, take over control of the United Nations (in the form of the resurrected Roman Empire) and seek to rule from Jerusalem. This government will be the government of the fourth kingdom beast power prophesied in Dan. 2, 7 and Rev. 13.

Notice carefully that he destroys or corrupts the mighty and holy people to destruction. Who are the mighty and holy people? Isn’t it Israel? (Both the northern house of Ephraim and the southern house of Judah who continue to remain separate in identity to this day.)

In order to completely destroy a people in YAHWEH'S eyes, they must first become greatly corrupted. Such task has been accomplished down through the ages. As touched on previously, our peoples have been corrupted through the teachings of the Kabbalah, Talmud, Freemasonry, etc. The stage is now set for the false messiah to bodily appear in the near future.

The resurrected Roman Empire is spoken of in the book of Revelation, chapter 13, "And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy," v. 1.

We know that many are teaching that the United States is the Babylonian harlot that is spoken of in the book of Revelation, and the U. S. is a part of the system. But as we have pointed out previously, all of Israel is a harlot because they have forsaken YAHWEH their Elohim. Only those who have turned back to YAHWEH through YAHshua the Messiah , the only way into the throne room of the heavenly FATHER, are counted as belonging to YAHWEH at this stage. (See Ro. 8:9)

In order to understand the principal locality of the "beast" and his power, we must understand where the Apostle John is standing. On what seashore is he speaking of? The answer is found in Dan. 7:2. Daniel saw the four beast kingdoms rise up out of the "great sea." The "great sea" is the term that the Mediterranean sea was called in ancient times. This is the principal area that the four great beast powers, Babylon, Persia, Greece and Rome, ruled in their rise to world power. Israel, Judah and Jerusalem were located at the very eastern edge of the "great sea" which was the land of promise and the place whereupon YAHWEH had His eye or fountain in the days of the patriarchs and also the days of Israel’s dominion.

Notice the composite of the beast in Rev. 13:2, "And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority."

Daniel is shown a series of four world-ruling kingdoms in chapter 2 and four world-ruling beasts in chapter 7. These are all the same kingdoms with different natures revealed. In chapter 2, metallic natures are revealed. In chapter 7, beast natures are revealed. How can we state this so emphatically? Because it is revealed that the fourth kingdom/beast continues until YAHWEH'S kingdom is re-established (Dan. 2:44; 7:26-27).

Rome was the fourth kingdom of Dan. 2 and the fourth beast of Dan. 7. It was a dreadful and terrible kingdom which crushed and trampled upon all those who opposed it, absorbing them into its grand design of empire.

Notice that in Daniel seven, the first three kingdoms are identified with animals, etc. which may seem to be strange, but can be visualized. The first kingdom is like a lion with eagle’s wings. A strange picture, but we can visualize it. The second kingdom is like a bear with three ribs in its mouth and the third kingdom is like a leopard with four heads and four wings on its back. But the fourth kingdom is not like any earthly creature. It is a dreadful and terrible beast with 10 horns. This means that it is very difficult to grasp and understand.

The beast of Revelation 13 is patterned like the great dragon, Satan the devil, of Rev. 12. But it also has the characteristics of the first three kingdoms spoken of in Daniel Seven. It was like a leopard with the feet of a bear and the mouth of a lion.

Our modern-day world is simply a product of the combination of all of these previous kingdoms, especially Rome. Today’s world utilizes the Gregorian calendar which was a product of Julius and Augustus Caesar along with some changes made by Pope Gregory. Today’s religious system is a system that was begun in Babylon and has come down to us with additions made by Persia, Greece and Rome. Most of the government are patterned after the Roman and Greek governments. Even the modern-day term for love, Romance, comes from a Roman point of view.

Many have been working feverishly behind the scenes in order to bring about this powerful resurrected Roman Empire. The United Nations and European Union are but two important facets being utilized to bring it all about.

Daniel reveals that the beast will make war with the saints, "I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the Most High: and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom," Dan. 7:21-22.

In Dan. 8 a little horn casts truth to the ground and practices and prospers (v. 12).

In Rev. 12, the dragon Satan persecutes the woman who brought forth the male child so that she has to flee from his face into the wilderness while the dragon goes to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of YAHWEH and have the testimony of YAHshua the Messiah (vv. 13-17).

What do you think the beast of Rev. 13 will do to those who cling to the truth and will not accept his deceitful practices even though he does great wonders? It is certain that he will eliminate any opposition with vehemence and also the approval of all who worship him.

We are involved in a spiritual war today and so many are falling victim to the enemy. The truth suffers greatly in today’s evil world.

It appears that the final beast power will not only establish its headquarters at Jerusalem, but a period of peace will ensue which will last about 3-1/2 years. This will be the lull before the storm. People will be deceived into thinking that this is the kingdom of heaven on earth and will be seeking to apply Isa. 2:1-4 and Micah 4:1-3 to this system.

At this time, YAHWEH will raise up two witnesses who will begin prophesying the truth about the beast and its deceptive powers (Rev. 11). This will cause the beast to wage war against any who will believe and follow the witnesses even though the witnesses will have protection from YAHWEH.

This will cause the great tribulation to begin in earnest which will be the times of Jacob’s troubles. The tribulation will begin at Jerusalem and sweep around the world. It is prophesied to endure for 3-1/2 years. The beast power will marshal his forces to come against the witnesses at Jerusalem. Zechariah proclaims, "Behold, the day of YAHWEH cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations (kol-goyim/United Nations) against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the People shall not be cut off from the city," 14:1-2.

Jerusalem will be suffering destruction for the third and last time although it will not be as complete as in times past. The witnesses will finish their testimony at the end of the 3-1/2 years and the beast will overpower them and kill them (Rev. 11:7-10).

After they have been dead for a period of 3-1/2 days, YAHWEH will resurrect them (Rev. 11:11-13) and go forth to fight against the nations, "Then shall YAHWEH go forth, and fight against those nations, as when He fought in the day of battle. 4. And His feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south (see also Rev. 11:13). 5. And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and YAHWEH my Elohim shall come, and all the saints with Thee. 6. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: 7. but it shall be one day which shall be known to YAHWEH, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light. 8. And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. 9. And YAHWEH shall be King over all the earth: in that day shall there be one YAHWEH and His name one," Zech. 14:3-9.

This is the Jerusalem that the heavens and earth have truly been waiting for. The Jerusalem wherein YAHWEH and His saints will rule. Judah and Israel will be restored to the kingdom in that day and brought together as one people in YAHWEH.

At that time the whole earth will become at peace and will be blessed. This is the time, the kingdom and the city truly worth praying for.

May YAHWEH speed that day!!!
