DID YAHSHUA
PRE-EXIST?

The question of Who YAHshua was and of His pre-existence is nothing new. A controversy broke out in what we would call the early days of the believers as to Who the Savior was and whether He pre-existed. Of course, this controversy (called the Arian controversy) broke out after about 300 years had elapsed. Think of it, that is a greater time than America has existed as a nation. Look at the changes and corruption that America has gone through in just a little over 200 years and then understand the corruption that had entered the body of believers in 300 years.
Arius was a bishop in the body of believers who began to teach that while the Messiah was the Son of Elohim, He was neither consubstantial nor coeternal with the FATHER. It was this controversy that brought about the Nicaean Council in 325. Constantine had taken over the leadership of the body by this time and was favorable to Arius’ teaching even though he felt compelled to initially side with the opposition.
What has generally been forgotten concerning Arius is his fate which is reported in the Ecclesiatical History by Socrates, "It was then Saturday, and Arius was expecting to assemble with the congregation on the day following; but Divine retribution overtook his daring criminality. For going out from the imperial palace...and approaching the porphyry pillar in the Forum of Constantine, a terror seized him, accompanied by violent relaxation of his bowels...Together with the evacuations his bowels protruded, followed by a copious hemorrhage, and the descent of the smaller intestine; moreover, portions of his spleen and his liver were eliminated in the effusion of blood, so that he almost immediately died." (i. 37-8)
What is incredible is that fantastic reports such as this simply go unheeded by the masses of mankind, or are suppressed, and so many charge ahead fearlessly with their works of denial. The examples are there for all to see if one would just look into the Scriptures and believe.
Adam and Eve were the first. They rebelled against the commandment of YAHWEH, took of the forbidden fruit, and brought sin, corruption and death upon all of their progeny. Yet, the preponderance of their descendants follow in disobedience fearlessly. Their sin actually led to the first murder (of course, Adam and Eve committed the first suicide and brought death on all of us) recorded in Scripture. Abel was slain by his brother Cain. Cain was banished from YAHWEH'S presence, but he and his family lineage helped to bring about the ultimate destruction of that age by their pernicious acts of violence. YAHWEH eventually destroyed that world by a flood saving only eight souls in the ark.
Remember the story after the flood concerning the tower of Babel? Again, the preponderance of mankind rebelled against their Maker and sought to band together in a New World Order, One World Government under the leadership of Nimrod and his wife Semiramis.
By the way, have you ever thought upon the name Semiramis? It is a Semitic name which is a combination of 3 Semitic words: Shem (Sem), ram and Ishah. It means "High woman of Shem." In other words, Nimrod was a grandson of Ham and Semiramis was of the lineage of Shem. It was a political combination of the lineage of Ham and Shem for the purposes of world dominance.
According to one story, Shem slew Nimrod and cut his body into pieces. Why did he do this? In one case, for Divine retribution against the rebel. But is it also possible that Semiramis had been Shem’s wife? Was Shem’s anger also kindled against an unfaithful wife and her lover? Or was she his daughter? This can only be postulation, but we do know that Nimrod was slain and divided into pieces which should serve warning to those who rebel against YAHWEH and His commands.
As we continue on, we have the example of Sodom and Gomorrah which came under the judgment of YAHWEH because of their pernicious, perverted and corrupted acts. Does this sow fear in the hearts of men and women? Evidently not. Look at the increase in homosexuality in today’s world along with the push to castigate any who would withstand such actions.
Then there is the story of Israel and the covenant made with YAHWEH which covenant they broke and had to suffer the consequences of destruction. This rebellion gave rise to the great world ruling powers of the Gentiles which are to continue right down to the establishment of the kingdom of heaven under the power of the hand of YAHshua the Messiah. People still are pushing the purpose for this destruction out of their minds and are fervently seeking to re-establish the Jewish state in the land of Canaan by the strength of their own power without the Son of Elohim to rule over them. Their efforts will continue to be fervently withstood until He comes to Whom it rightfully belongs.
In the New Testament, we have certain prime examples that we should look to very carefully. First, there is the account of Ananias and Shapphira. They were found in a lie against the Holy Spirit and suffered the consequences of instant death. Yet, the world continues headlong in lies today concerning the truth of the Scriptures irregardless of the examples of fate suffered for doing such.
There is the account of Simon Magus who sought to purchase the power of the Holy Spirit with money. He was strongly rebuked by the Apostle Peter and warned that he was on the path to destruction, yet, Simon Magus is credited with raising up the great church at Rome which loves the practice of "Simony" (purchasing religious and/or sacred things or office with money) to this day.
Next, we can go to King Herod’s example. He slew the Apostle James which, when he saw that it pleased the disbelieving Jews, he also imprisoned Peter determining to bring him forth to the people after Passover, but Peter was delivered from his hand by YAHWEH'S angel. Herod soon came to his miserable end when he arrayed himself in royal apparel, sat on his throne and made an oration (speech) to the people of Tyre and Sidon. The people shouted that his was the voice of Elohim and not man. He was immediately smitten by the Angel of YAHWEH, because he didn’t glorify YAHWEH, was eaten of worms and gave up the spirit (Acts 12).
What about the story about the man who gathered sticks on the Sabbath and was stoned to death for his disobedience? Wouldn’t you think that the world would look to that example and fear to not keep the Sabbath command?
The warning is ominous. Those who will not speak and preach the truth concerning YAHWEH, His Word, His Spirit and especially His Son, will suffer an awful fate.
YAHshua
warned the people of His day that judgment for all of the evil acts perpetrated upon the righteous prophets of YAHWEH, from Abel until Zacharias son of Barachias, whom they slew between the Temple and the altar, would come upon that generation. The great preponderance of that generation forsook YAHshua, His disciples and the message that they were commanded to deliver. They began to circulate falsehoods and other fallacious things concerning the Savior and the faith. They persecuted those who turned to the truth. Many were put to death. They solicited the help of the Roman Caesars and their armies in an attempt to eradicate the message concerning YAHshua. The judgment came. Jerusalem was destroyed in 69-70 CE.The purpose of this current newsletter is to reveal the truth about YAHshua, Who He was, is and will be. We find that we must serve warning to those who follow the pernicious acts and doctrine of Arius. Look at his fate and the fate of others for withstanding the truths of YAHWEH and denying the very pre-existence of the Savior.
Our article entitled "The Arm of YAHWEH" should be very enlightening to you. It should be very encouraging also. It should reveal the Savior as He has not been revealed in these times.
Our other article entitled "YAHshua's Pre-Existence" should reveal the false, erroneous, fallacious reasonings employed to deny the truth about YAHshua. To be forewarned is to be forearmed. Please take warning. If you don’t, we fear that your fate will be sealed by the examples found in the Scriptures and enumerated here.
Embrace the truth concerning YAHshua as proven in the Scriptures, rejoice and live. JH
We are so happy and joyful to be able to report that on July 8th Jack Ross Jr. of Plano, Texas, called and requested baptism. He promptly drove to the Healan home in Atlanta, Texas in order to have the service performed for him.
Then on July 29th the Healan family left for Caballo, New Mexico in order to baptize 5 more brethren into the precious and saving name of YAHshua the Messiah.
The Healans traveled to El Paso where they spent the night of the 29th. They toured Juarez, Mexico the next morning and then headed north for Caballo and the baptisms.
Upon arrival at the Jim Clem residence there was a good deal of discussion concerning the Scriptures and various topics found therein.
After a very spirited discussion we traveled to a very secluded area on a nearby lake where 5 of the group were baptized. Those baptized were Frances Baca, Jim Clem, Robert Heddon, William Moon and David Park.
The rest of the evening was spent in fellowship at a local café. The next morning many of us also shared breakfast together before the Healans left to travel back east in order to attend the annual Unity Conference.
The Healans were able to visit White Sands, New Mexico as well as Carlsbad Caverns, New Mexico before continuing on to Cisco, Texas for the Conference where there was much more fellowship, joy and rejoicing. The Healans returned home on the following Monday (Aug. 6) completing what we feel was a very fruitful and productive trip for our Heavenly FATHER YAHWEH and His Beloved Son, our Sovereign and Savior YAHshua the Messiah. Please keep these new little ones in your prayers and receive them into your fellowship.

While we do not know the specifics in each and every case, there are some whose condition we do know of and would like to enlist the specifics of their problems here so that your prayers for them can be broken down a little smaller and more specifically.
Ruenelle Greene is suffering the latter stages of emphysema.
Brother James Edge slipped and fell on icy steps which dislocated his right shoulder. It has not responded to treatment and his right arm and hand are useless.
Sister Eleanora Edge suffered congestive heart failure in 1990. She has had 3 pacemaker implants and is only able to get around with a cane, a walker or a wheelchair.
Nadene Brown is suffering from Parkinson’s.
Elaine Daniel is suffering from an anurism and stroke. She has begun to respond somewhat, and is now attempting to feed herself.
Marie Dupus suffered a stroke and is confined to a wheel chair due to partial paralysis.
Sister Floy Rynard has recently suffered heart problems.
Diane Mastropaolo is suffering from bone cancer, and Beverly Morrow from stomach cancer..
We were blessed to be able to attend the annual Unity Conference held on Aug. 3-5 at the Cisco, Texas, Assembly. The conference certainly gives everyone the opportunity to renew old acquaintances and also make new ones. It is very similar to a miniature Feast of Tabernacles. However, unlike the Feast, study after study is presented and there is a great deal of sitting involved.
The conference is usually scheduled make presentations from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday with two or three 10—15 minute breaks as well as breaks for lunch and dinner. This year the time crept upon us and we were still at the meeting until about 10:30 p.m.
Sabbath presentations also began at 9:00 a.m. and continued until regular Sabbath services followed by the lunch break. After lunch, the presentations began again and continued until the dinner break. After dinner the presentations were again resumed until about 9:00 p.m.
The presentations began again on Sunday morning at about 9:15 a.m. and continued until the lunch break (about 1:00 p.m.).
Topics were varied from the pronunciation of the Names to the calendar, marriage, etc. Larry Acheson presented his research concerning the pronunciation of the name of the Savior, whether it is Yahushua, Yeshua or Yahshua. He did utilize an article written by Daniel Botkin which was published in his magazine The Gates Of Eden wherein he (Mr. Botkin) supposedly gave conclusive evidence that the pronunciation of the Savior’s name could have been Yahushua (Yehowshua) or Yeshua, but never Yahshua. We have a copy of said article here in our office and the interesting thing about Mr. Botkin’s article is that while he gives his conclusive proof that the name of the Savior could never have been Yahshua, he continues to utilize the English rendering "Joshua" as being quite acceptable. He even admits that there was originally no "J" in the English language and that it was derived from the "I" carrying a "Y" sound. Thus, Mr. Botkin destroys his own argument.
Larry’s presentation was not confrontational at all and went a long way toward mollifying any ill feelings anyone has expressed over this issue.
Jon Francis gave a message concerning the use of pagan names and titles in commerce, especially and specifically the name "Nike". Nike means to conquer and it appears that such is being done in the secular world as well as the religious.
Marvin Wilson gave an in-depth study on the calendar. He had a great deal of information and also had excellent helps for his presentation. However, his topic did stir quite a number of responses and comments. Marvin also distributed an interesting study entitled Pagan Christianity Before The Messiah!
A Brother Matthew and one of his associates presented their idea that the Sabbath should be determined by the phases of the moon. We dealt with this concept in the last newsletter and will surely have to deal with it again in the future.
There was a proposed resolution concerning the permanence of marriage, encouraging the assembly leaders and pastors to uphold marriage and especially marriage in the faith, a thing with which we whole-heartedly agree and encourage.
Roeben Steven gave a study concerning marriage and divorce. It is our desire to approach this subject very carefully as the people of Yahshua’s day came asking Him if it was lawful to divorce one’s wife for anything. Yahshua replied that a marriage wasn’t considered dissolved by Yahweh except it be for fornication.
Yermeyah gave a study concerning his belief that America is the Babylonian harlot of the book of Revelation. While the argument is very convincing and certain conditions appear to correspond with his presentation, a much more careful study into the beast and Babylon will reveal the true identity. We hope to complete a booklet entitled "Who-What Is The Beast?" in the not too distant future which will identify with Biblical and secular proofs. We will probably begin to run the booklet as a continued article in the newsletter.
It was determined that the Cisco Assembly would also host next year’s Unity Conference, however, it was decided that if the Rocheport, Mo. Assembly desires to host the conference in 2002 the Cisco Assembly would relinquish that privilege.
Feast of Tabernacles Information!!!
We will be observing the Feast of Tabernacles 2001 right here in the Atlanta-Texarkana area of Northeast Texas. The festival dates are currently scheduled to be Oct. 3-10.
The location of the festival observance will be at Strange Family Bluegrass Park. Maps of the area are provided below. Feast Map #1 gives a larger map of the area which also includes Interstate 30 and U. S. Highway 59 which are the major access routes to the area and park.
Feast Map #2 is an inset from the larger map which will give a closer detail of the immediate area around the park and the access to it. If you will notice, those coming south on U.S. 59 will turn left on County Road 2516 which will George Thomas Road. Take a right on George Thomas and proceed to Warren Thomas Road. Take another right and proceed to Sam Thomas (another right).
For those traveling north on U.S. 59, you may take a right on County Road 3244, proceed to CR 2516, turn right and follow the same instructions given above.
Strange Family Bluegrass Park is a beautiful park with plenty of shade trees and space to spread out. There are plenty of hook-ups for RV’s as well as plenty of space to pitch a tent. The price of the spaces will be $10 per day for full hook-up, $7 per day for electricity and water hook-up, $6.00 per day for water only (tents).
The park has two restroom facilities for both men and women with two showers in each restroom. The meeting hall also has restroom facilities with one shower each. The meeting hall has kitchen facilities with 3 refrigerators and an electric cook stove, sink, etc.
We are currently running ads in the local papers in order to find some camper trailers for those who might need them. The last feast, we made about 7 campers available at $20.00 per day. Add the hook-up fee and the price will be $30.00 per day. We are not sure how many we will have available, but if we can get enough, it will be better than using a motel. For those who prefer a motel room, the closest motel is The Budget Inn, 4501 S. Lake Drive, Ph. # 903-838-0300. It is a brand new motel and should be in peak condition.
