My Prayer for our Troops
God, thank you for all the brave men and women who are serving in our armed
forces to keep our country free. Please direct their steps and unite them in
their efforts. Bless them and their families for their willingness to serve
and may we never forget their sacrifice on our behalf.

This web-site was set-up as a result of members being located from all
over the states to form a Reunion depicting our nostalgic memories
of that wonderful time at Greenville Air Force Base and
The City of Greenville during the 50's.
It is not maintained as an attempt to record the history of Greenville, Mississippi,
but to emphasize an important part of History about Greenville Mississippi, that
will be forever etched in the hearts and minds of the people that were
there and attend the reunions that are held there every year.
A few of the members do not feel the same about the Old Base and Greenville
as most of us do, and as a result do not attend the Reunions with other members.
They have missed a part of history that was an important part of their life.

Thank you for visiting this site and especially to everyone who has shared their pictures,
comments and memories with us. Because it is a work in progress, there will be updates and
changes. I believe the information I have posted to this site is correct, but as I continue to search,
it is inevitable there will be some corrections. I do not take credit for all of the information in
this web site - my wish is to collect "the bits and pieces" and make the information available for all to enjoy.

The Reunion group has opened up our reunion membership to any and all enlisted personnel that was stationed at Greenville Air Force Base when it was originally a Pilot Training Wing. There were other schools assigned to the base, after the Pilot Training portion was discontinued, and are welcome to join, but most likely they have their own reunions within their own respective fields of interest.
