It may appear the Tongue/Pin weight is being added twice. It is not. When discussing the trailer, the pin weight is included as part of the GVW and GVWR of the trailer.

Once hitched to the tow vehicle, the Tongue/Pin weight is carried by the rear axle of the TV and included as part of the GVW and GCVW of the tow vehicle.
