The Univalve is a 15 watt, single ended Class A amplifier, that uses one power tube and two preamp tubes. The versatility of this amp is incredible, as you can use just about any power amp/pre-amp tube on the market, with no need to rebias the amp. At 15 watts, this little amp can keep up in a full rock band situation with all but the loudest of drummers, and because of the low wattage, it breaks up really nicely. Bang for buck, I think this is the best music equipment purchase I've made to date. THD Electronics designed and manufactures the Univalve, and has several other fantastic products.
