The Art League, located in Alexandria, Virginia, has established The Shayna Heisman Simkin Award Program.  A cash award is to be given to the artist for "Best in Show" selected in a juried show.  The first award was presented in November 2001 for the Black & White Show.  The annual award is made in September each year thereafter.
