What's New

    On September 12, 2004, the Fourth Annual Shayna Heisman Simkin Award was presented to the Best In Show recipient, Beverly Ryan, for her work in oil, "Floating Suits".

    The Art League, located in Alexandria, Virginia, has established The Shayna Heisman Simkin Award Program.  A cash award is to be given to the artist for "Best in Show" selected in a juried show.  The first award was presented in November 2001 for the Black & White Show.  The award is made annually in September.
