“THE CUP” Challenge

LONGEST FLIGHT OF THE YEAR

 

 Here is the challenge. Log your flight time and E-mail the Pres. or better still, come to the meeting and tell everyone about it. We will post the info in the newsletter and present “THE CUP” to the winner in January.  See the entry form at the bottom of this page.

 

Here are the rules:

        Any glider, 1 oz to 40 lbs.

        Launch via Winch, Hi-Start, Hand Launch, Aerotow, or Electric motor

        Only gliding time counts - subtract motor run time, winch time, etc!

        Aircraft must land without incident (crashing negates the flight)

        At least one person must be present.

        Timing and reporting is on the honor system.

        2009 winner Brian Quick with a time of 1;02:41 holds the all time high for the club.
