Frequently Asked Questions When was Bulldog Country® created? Bulldog Country® was created in December 1990. Wow! That was a long time ago! Who is the main character in Bulldog Country®? There really isn't a SINGLE main character, but it would seem that much of the spotlight remains on Cindy and Vivian. We see more of THEM than anyone else in the whole series. Also, when the time is right, certain things about the characters will be revealed. Why did you choose bulldogs as your main character type? This is an easy answer. I originally created Bulldog Country® in high school as a comic in the school newspaper. Our school mascot was the bulldog. So, why not have bulldogs as the main characters? It just worked out that way. I haven't seen any Bulldog Country® activity in a while. What happened? I took a hiatus for personal reasons. There were some changes happening in my life that I will not go into detail here. In fact, I had no intention or desire of resurrecting this series until late April 2008. Is there anything new in this series? Yes. There are several new things. One noticable change is in the character design. Many of the characters have visually changed in some way. Also, I plan for all of the main characters to return, and even some new faces. One major change, is the main characters will now be YOUNGER. Will the presentation of the series change? Absolutely! Previously, the series included a lot of adult themes and adult humor. Now, subject matters and themes will remain within a PG to PG-13 rating. There may be some inside-jokes that adults may enjoy, too. Why all the changes? What made you decide to make them? This partially has something to do with the personal reasons I mentioned above. Also, since the characters are now younger, I can show how Bully and Cindy meet, how Vivian falls for Bully, and how the entire "love-triangle" gets started. There will be many more opportunities for character development. Expect more surprises, too! Have you ever drawn any of the characters nude? In the old version of this series, yes. Now, since the characters are younger, that would no longer be appropriate. Do the characters have any parents? We never see them! Yes, all of the characters have parents. However, they have not even been drawn yet. Will you sell artwork? I used to put artwork up on my eBay selling page, but none of it ever sold. If there's something you REALLY want, contact me, and we'll negotiate. Do you hold art contests? Not anymore due to lack of participation. Most unfortunate. :( Do you have any projects you are working on right now? I would love to do some animation involving these characters. That has always been my goal. Even if it's just a short film.... perhaps fifteen or twenty minutes long. The trick is finding the time to do so, and finding voice actors and actresses willing to donate some of their time.
