Employment History

2001-Present: Assistant Engineering Safety coordinator for Support Systems Associates, Inc. (SSAI). Ensures that all personnel working in electronic and mechanical labs are trained in adult CPR and AED usage. Maintains a safe working environment for fifty engineers and avionics technicians. Provides MSDS and other safety awareness training in accordance with OSHA standards. Intermediate and Depot Level Aviation Electronics Technician. Performs proof of concept testing and engineering assistance on several C-130 design, modification, and electrical load analysis projects. Responsible for the maintenance of thirty-four Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) test stations.

2001-Present: US Naval Reserves Organizational Level Aviation Electronics Technician/Air Warfare Specialist Petty Officer Second Class. Manages from ten to thirty sailors at a time to promoting their personal and professional development. Responsible for on-the-spot flight line maintenance and engines-on troubleshooting of F/A-18 A and B model aircraft for Fighter Composite Squadron 12. One of twelve “final checkers” in fighter/attack aircraft readiness that certifies that aircraft are ready to perform tactical missions. Provide Intermediate Maintenance support to squadrons supported by and transiting through Naval Air Station Atlanta.

1996-2001: US Navy Intermediate Level Aviation Electronics Technician/Air Warfare Specialist Petty Officer Second Class. Responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of six CASS stations and management of fifteen subordinate personnel aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise. Performed various Quality Assurance duties on equipment throughout three work centers and on the flight deck. Performed electrical safety checks throughout two work centers. Ensured all equipment that left the work-center was mission-capable and ready for use in the defense of our nation.

1995-1996: McDonald’s Manager. Ensured all personnel were on time and motivated to provide a superior level of quality, service, and cleanliness to all customers. Ensured the restaurant met and remained in conditions well above established heath code standards.

Formal Education
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics. Minors in Aviation Safety and Business Management. Maintained a 2.94 GPA while working full time and serving in the US Naval Reserves.
