If you thought all academic geeks were not cool...

...then you haven't met this motley crew!

Ken Klucznik's ancestral homeland is the province of Quebec. In his younger years, he was convicted of inciting to invade Michigan with the intent of making it the eleventh Canadian province. While in a maximum security detention center (and when not in solitary confinement) he was given the name "Snake" and quickly learned to play the guitar from a fellow 9 year old inmate.

Ken is an English professor at Manchester Community College. He gains respect from his students by challenging them in and out of the classroom. On more than one occasion, his demanding approach has lead to emotional and physical breakdowns. Whether the breakdowns were with the students or Ken himself is unclear.

Ken is married and has two daughters.

Patrick Sullivan, baptized "Crusty" but now more commonly known as "The Professor," entered the federal witness protection program after his years in juvenile detention for unknown crimes. His early release and subsequent relocation were the result of turning over the names of several high ranking classic literary black marketers that he was once in cahoots with.

Patrick is soft spoken but demanding of his fellow musicians, often threatening go solo and mumbling under his breath, "You'll miss me when I'm go solo."

Patrick is also an English professor at Manchester Community College; however, he gains respect from his students through intimidating use of his 6' 4" frame - at least that is what he likes to think. Patrick's happy and joyous attitude often help keep the debt collectors at bay.

Patrick is married and has a son and a daughter.

Holly June Jacobs is known affectionately as "Haja" by Ken and Patrick and those close to her and by "Pit Bull" by those not so close to her.

Holly's goal (after successfully learning the tambourine) is to learn the bongos so she can be more of a valuable asset to the band and thus, they can't kick her out when her voice goes because of all this low range singing!

Holly is a classically trained vocalist. It has been very difficult for her to sing this way - no sheet music, learning by ear, memorizing, etc. Holly takes pride in being the motivator for the band to dig their heels in and practice, practice, practice! She is also frequently heard divulging her past often starting sentences with "One time... at band camp..."

On the academic front, Holly graduated from the Surgical Tech program at Manchester Community College in May with a 3.98 GPA. Holly is married and has two boys.
