This site exists as the presentation of Westwood College Online students for the October 2006 term. The goal of the project? To play, assess, review, and analyze a previously released title receiving only mediocre ratings, and to pinpoint the exact areas in need of improvement, effectively re-designing the concept in a mock re-release. The following presentation is meant to document our progress and the completion of this progress, made possible by the efforts of all involved team members.

We were tasked with the mission of finding a game that could be accessed by all members of the team, and one that had received poor ratings from a professional source. A difficult task, we were soon to find, as (for obvious reasons) there are few venues to access the games that dwell in mediocrity. The correlation, it seemed, would come by way of licensing association. As a group, we were somewhat divided over two titles, both for the Gameboy Advance: Grand Theft Auto Advance, and Capcom MiniMix. In the end, we chose MiniMix, deciding not to tread within the complex boundaries of making GTA Advance compete along the lines of the original title.

With three games, MiniMix also gave us a good resource pool from which to analyze and draw our conclusions. In the following documentation, we have provided not only our impression of the game, including its strengths and weaknesses, but also our thoughts for improvement and how to release Capcom MiniMix in hopes of a more favorable reception. We have also provided our team charter including project deadlines and an email contact list, and an overview of our process for quick browsing.
