Strengths
Age might be largely apparent within each three titles, but the game-play and core mechanics are still sound and easy to get the hang of.
The look and sound is identical to the original NES versions, which might bring up some good ol’ nostalgia to the long time fans. (This could also be a negative for some.)
With a retail price averaging $14.99, you can’t beat the value in owning a handful of classic games for one low cost.
Shortcomings
The strongest shortcoming that we have found across each title is actually a double edged sword. The look and sound of these re-surfaced classics is exactly the same as their original counterparts. Although this can provide some value to fans, the younger market might be disappointed with the very outdated sound and pixilated graphics that have not been “buffed” in the least.
