SPEAKER: Eugene A. Woltering, MD, FACS, Internationally Recognized Carcinoid Cancer Expert, Section Chief of Surgical Oncology & Endocrine Surgery; The James D. Rives Professor of Surgery and Neuroscience, Director of Surgical Research, Louisiana State Health Science Center, Department of Surgery, New Orleans, Louisiana; Director, Neuroendocrine Tumor Program, Ochsner Medical Center. Dr. Eugene Woltering attended Medical School at Ohio State University School of Medicine. He then completed his internship and residency Vanderbilt University Affiliated Hospitals, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Woltering has also completed a fellowship in Surgical Oncology at The Ohio State University School of Medicine and an oncology fellowship at the National Cancer Institute.
