SpiraPaint! Homepage
SpiraPaint! is based on several well known trig based formulas that use the beauty of math and numbers to plot beautiful images. It is meant to mimic in many ways the popular children's drawing toys released over the years. One such toy is the Kenner Spirograph* now sold by Hasbro. I coded this small program over the course of an afternoon, most of the code was ported from a program I wrote for my daughter some years ago. Here are some sample images that show what Spirapaint! can do:

INSTALLATION
SpiraPaint!.exe and all files included in the zip archive should be installed in a folder named "SpiraPaint!" in your programs folder. It does not modify the registry or operating system and may be run immediately after extraction to this folder.
If upgrading to version 1.6, replace all files including the sample files. The sample files have been updated for version 1.6. In addition, many more have been added!
KNOWN INSTALL ISSUES
One error users have reported, on some systems, comdlg32.ocx is missing or outdated. Please try following the steps in the link below: (You must have admin privileges to install the ocx).

Version 1.8 released!
Version 1.8 is here! This version adds to the controls redesign, 24 wheel support and Snap! feature introduced in the 1.7/1.75 release. It introduces a Symmetry feature to aid in the generation of multi-wheel drawing. See the online user's guide for more details on this release.
