Litha Lore
(June 20-23)

This is the Summer Solstice or midsummer festival. Usually celebrated on the first day of summer and marking the longest day of the year. This is an ideal time for divinations, healing rituals & the making of divining rods and wands. It is also believed that herbs harvested on this day will be at their most potent for spells and potions. Traditional foods include fresh vegetables, summer fruits & Pumpernickel Bread. Traditional drinks are ale and My favorite!! Mead.
By the way, I'm brewing some Mead now.
