Also known as Lammas Sabbat and the First Festival of Harvest. Traditionally, this is the time to make corn dollies. The Dollies are placed on the Sabbat altar to symbolize the Goddess of the harvest. It is customary to make a new corn dolly and burn the one made last year for luck. Traditional Pagan foods include homemade breads, barley cakes, nuts, wild berries, roasted lamb, berry pies, apples & rice. Traditional drinks include elderberry wine, ale and tea.
