The autumn Equinox is the completion of the harvest begun at Lughnasadh. Once again day and night are equal. The God prepares to leave his physical body and wander into the unseen, toward renewal and rebirth of the goddess. Nature prepares for winter and the time of rest, withdrawing it's bounty into the earth. The Goddess rests in the waning sun, though she feels the presence of the God in her womb. His presence is felt even as he wanes.
