The Spring Equinox is celebrated on the first day of spring. Traditional Pagan foods for Ostara include Hard Boiled Eggs, Honey cakes, Milk punch and the first fruits of the season. This Sabbat was christianized by the church into the religious holiday known as Easter, like so many other pagan holy days.
