Construction and improvements are ongoing as I learn the ropes to web page creation and publication.
My intention in forming this society is to create a closed-door round table forum, that will allow key personnel from active, pro-2nd Amendment (2A) organizations to meet, discuss relevent issues, and hopefully adopt a cooperative strategy to be taken back to the respective members for implementation. I believe this level of united effort is required if we are to maintain our 2A rights and then further, to reclaim those lost.
Although I am fairly well-read in the area of the 2A and the political and philisophical arguments contained therein, I am not an expert and would look to be a moderator or discussion director at these proposed round tables.
I chose the CAPE BUFFALO as the icon/animal kingdom representative of this society as I believe that if Man were to act the way nature provides for the CAPE BUFFALO he would be deemed noble, respectful, upstanding, and brave. Certainly characteristics that should be strived for by any man worthy of the name. The CAPE BUFFALO resists domestication, looks for no trouble but engages it when trouble finds them. They reclaim their own. When in danger protectors (adults) of the herd stand shoulder to shoulder and project a united front against the danger. This is what I'd like to see happen with the pro-gun groups. Therefore the CAPE BUFFALO is the standard by which we will judge our actions within this Society. -Baby Buffalo: our wives, children, families, or even our Rights
-The Lions: socialists, communists, leftists, anti-gunners, the Disarmers
-The Crocodile: criminal opportunists, attackers of the weak and unarmed)
As this Society progresses Round Tables will be announced. Representatives from invited 2A groups will congegrate at a set time and place and will discuss the agenda. Potential agenda items will have been sent out with the invitations so reps can be properly prepared. Attendees will have the option of bringing up other items as time allows.
