War Room analysis
Strengths: Plays much stronger than size would indicate. Shows good speed and athleticism. Never stops hustling, and makes plays sideline-to-sideline. Is excellent in run support; fills the hole hard, and closes very quickly. Is a superb open-field tackler. Is good in coverage, and can win jump balls.
Weaknesses: Must hit the weight room to add lower-body strength. On the field, must develop better ball skills in coverage and hone route-recognition skills.
Bottom line: Huff has experience at cornerback and safety. If he can get stronger to compensate for his average height, he can be a devastating player. He has proven himself against elite competition. Huff projects a an early-Day 2 pick who could sneak into the third round.
Dan Pompei analysis
A corner/safety 'tweener with the athleticism to play either position. Has decent size and plays the run adequately. Is a fluid, fast runner. Is smart and can call the coverages.
