The Astrin armored personnel carrier serves a variety of fundemental roles. This variant provides a light artillery platform for profor drop infantry operations. The hold has been modified to an anti-blast magazine. The standard Astrin fusion gun has been replaced with an 80mm RF howitzer, capable of both direct and indirect fire support. A drone bay allows the unit to set up its own sensor picket or deliver a missile level punch, when required. Two Point Defense (PD) Lasers can provide area protection for the force.
