Vacuum Pack: Contains air tank with Life Support unit good for 24 hrs. (Build using tank from GURPS UT with life support unit and rechargeable power cell.) Pack fits on BD hardpoint and contains 2 rE cells for fusion gun. Pack has its own hardpoint rack to allow a softpack to be attached. Pack is armored to level of BD.
Support Vacuum Pack: Contains air tank with life support unit good for 24 rs, as well as NPU that can be used for field recharge of squad BD's. Pack contains hardpoint for mounting of softpack. Pack is armored to level of BD.
Softpack: 1000 cu in. of storage divided into an unsealed main compartment suitable for storage of an envirobag, plus various sealed and unsealed side pouches. The softpack is typically dropped prior to engagement. Releasing the bag can be done by the trooper. Reinstallation of the softpack requires assistance. Pack is of ballistic cloth
Envirobag: Slightly modified (for size) to allow a trooper in BD to unseal/remove the helmet and lay out vice lockleg for rest periods. It is not possible to remove BD in the bag, although there is room for troops in CES and Combat Armor to dress down.
Combat Support Sled: Sled contains Contragrav unit, a NPU to power the sled systems and provide for field BD recharges. Sled can carry 100 cuft cargo. Typically it is outfitted with a vacuum tent (Build tent using UT/GT vacuum tent, air bottles, and life support unit. Gravity mat can be added for low gravity environments.) Tent is big enough for BD troops to remove suits. Sled loadout typically includes a vac portable field fresher suitable for Human, Aslan or Vargr use. Other models available. Sled can be flown using remote radio control or by wire for added EM emission security.
Vacuum Optimized APCs can be used for transport. The APC can supply field recharge to embarked BD troops. The installation of a vaccum support unit allows extended logistical support of a squad of profor troops. The unit includes one frame to allow a single trooper to dismount and use the fresher. In rotation each trooper can stretch out, perform minor repairs, etc. This can reduce fatigue and significantly extend effective field time.
Field Medical Support Sled: Sled contains Contragrav unit, NPU to power sled and provide power for field surgery unit. Vacuum tent is big enough for trooper in battle dress and an attending EMT, medical corpsman or doctor. Tent allows wounded to be treated prior to evacuation.
The use of the Assault Cutter and specialized modules allows profor troops great flexibility in operating environments. Except where noted most of the following modules can be used, though less effectively, on the standard Modular Cutter, and so might be seen in local, mercenary, or Imperial service. Living Module.
