2009 Summer Bash: The Spirit of 13,000
On Wednesday, June 17th the Wichita Catbackers proudly hosted the 2009 Wichita Catbacker Summer Bash at the Beech Activity Center. New faces adorned the stage this year as Kansas State University is witnessing a great turnover in administrative roles. Promises of a strong and successful future were told while praises were given out for the successes of the recent past.
Ultimately, a call to action was given by Coach Snyder to all K-State fans to pack the seats with Purple and not wait until the wins start coming in. He called upon the spirit of the original 13,000 die-hard Wildcat fans that were present during the beginning of the first Snyder era of K-State football to rise once again and back a university that needs their help now. The Wichita Catbackers will answer that call to action, and we represented our region well for the Summer Bash with solid attendance and exciting auction bidding wars. The Spirit of 13,000 was alive and well that night in Wichita thanks to you, Catbackers!

Football Watch Parties
Kansas State Football is back and so are the Watch Parties! Once again, the watch parties are going to be held at The Loft 150 in Old Town, Tuesday Nights at 6:30pm. Check the Event Calendar for the specific game that will be played. The Loft 150 is located above River City Brewery. Follow the Event Map link at left to check the location on Google Maps. The Watch Parties are free to attend for both Catbacker members and non-members alike and make an excellent opportunity for fans to watch K-State in action, regardless of whether or not the game was nationally televised! Enjoy friendly company while choosing from The Loft 150's full selection menu of great food and drinks. Come out on Tuesday nights and cheer on another Wildcat victory!
