• Historical Data Systems has completed the roster for the state of KS, you can check out the searchable index free, they offer a pay subscription to obtain further information online from their site.
• The National Park Service is working on a similar project, but it will be FREE! The Civil War Soldiers and Sailors Database. The CWSS database currently contains approximately 3.5 million soldier names from over 30 states and territories. It also has regimental histories from Dyers. You can also view a roster (alphabetical order) created from the General Index Cards.
