| Edward was born about 1769, the son of J. Huggins, in Lamonby, Skelton Parish, Cumberland County. He was a laborer in 1795-1809. He married Esther Bowerbank, a minor, in the Parish of Greystoke, Cumberland, on 2 November 1794. It appears that after the death of wife Esther, Edward joined other family members in Canada, and ultimately came to the United States, where he died in Wisconsin. |
|
Esther was born about 1775 in Cumberland County, the daughter of John Bowerbank. She resided in Johnby, Greystoke Parish, Cumberland, at the time of her marriage in 1794. Many of their children emigrated to Canada. Edward is found living there in 1837. It is uncertain of Esther died in England or Canada. |
