Robert Davison                   1817-
Robert was born in 1817, the son of Richard Davison and Mary Carr, at Willington, Wallsend, Northumberland. He was a Trimmer in 1846 and 1849. In 1851 he was a Railway laborer, and in 1867 a Coalminer. He married Elizabeth Ogle in Christ Church Parish Church in Tynemouth, on 16 January 1836. Both were 18 years old.
Elizabeth Ogle                   1817-
Elizabeth was born about 1817, the daughter of Andrew and Mary Ogle, at Hexham, Northumberland. She was Baptized 25 February 1817, in the Hexham Parish Church. Robert and Elizabeth lived at 19 (and later at 15) Carpenter Street, in Westoe, South Shields, from 1841 through 1851. They moved to Seaham for a while, and in 1871 they lived at 96 Ryhope Street, Ryhope.

It is interesting to note that on the marriage register and both Richard and Isabella's birth certificates, all references to Davison is spelled Davidson. The census data always lists the family as Davison.
