Couple to Couple (CCL) League of Baton Rouge

General Teaching Couple:

Teach at least 1 NFP class series each year (4 classes over a 4-month period)

· Class preparation (review, organize slides, order NFP kits if needed, etc.)

· Respond to calls for general NFP information

· Respond to calls for chart interpretation from class attendees and others

· Maintain list of class attendees. Report to CCL Central and to Chapter at completion of each class for database maintenance.

If possible, attend monthly CCL Baton Rouge meetings

Promotion Assistance:

Parish promoter

Bulletin notices to parishes of upcoming classes

Catholic Commentator articles about NFP and notices of upcoming classes

Attend and take minutes from monthly CCL Baton Rouge meetings

Publish quarterly newsletter

NFP Week Promotion

Order NFP display, brochures, stationary, and other supplies from CCL central

Brochure distribution (parishes, doctors offices, etc.)

Maintaining databases (pilot program, newsletter, etc.)

Miscellaneous clerical assistance for the chapter

Mailings

Adopt-a-Seminarian Program

· Match families to seminarians each fall

· Send prayer cards

· Organize annual seminarian dinner

Opportunities for pulpit talks, engaged encounter talks, etc.

Maintaining and updating CCL Baton Rouge Website

Organizing NFP prayer-watches (7 families per prayer watch)

Staff display at Bishop’s Annual Pro-Life Rally (each January)

Staff display at annual LSU Health Fair (usually in April)

Organizing annual CCL Baton Rouge BBQ (usually in May or June)

Organizing group “retreats” and special planning sessions

Host out-of-town CCL teacher training attendees and visitors from CCL Central

· Organize group dinner

· Housing assistance

· Babysitting assistance

· General hospitality assistance (coffee, snacks, room setup, etc.)
