Hi everyone.  As you may have guessed, we aren't really active as a label these days, but we still do limited mailorder on some of the newer Simon Joyner releases and the older Sing, Eunuchs! titles that are still available (see full catalog below).

Please note the new address (above).

AVAILABLE NOW:

DENNIS CALLACI AND SIMON JOYNER : Stranger Blues mini LP (Catsup Plate) $10

Now available: the long-awaited one-sided 12" mini-LP collaboration between Simon and the great Dennis Callaci (Paste, Refrigerator, Shrimper, etc).  Five songs recorded in Summer 2003 in Dennis's Living Room.  Edition of 500, in hand-assembled silkscreened chipboard covers.

lost with the lights on

GET LOST
The new Simon Joyner LP/CD, Lost With the Lights On, is out now on Jagjaguwar Records.  It's available from us for $12 (same price for either format).  The price includes postage within the USA; elsewhere, see the ordering instructions below for postage costs.  It was recorded in Los Angeles with Michael Krassner, Wil Hendricks, Eric Heywood, Fred Lonberg-Holm, and Jim White.  The LP version has a deluxe thick gatefold cover.   You can hear a couple of sound files at the Jagjaguwar website.

OTHER NEWS:

A few months ago, Simon Joyner was featured on the Public Radio program Weekend America.  You can listen to it here
(scroll to the bottom).

Simon has contributed a guest vocal on one track on Sigmatropic's new CD based on the Haiku poetry of George Seferis,
Sixteen Haiku and Other Stories on Tongue Master.  The CD also feautures guest vocals by Mark Eitzel, Howe Gelb, Laetita Sadier, Edith Frost, Lee Ranaldo, Steve Wynn, and Robert Wyatt.  Sorry, but we don't have any copies at this time.  For details and ordering information, see the Tongue Master website.

COMING SOON:

It's increasingly likely that a large-scale anthology of Simon's numerous compilation appearances will appear in the next year or so.  We are hoping that it will be released as a double LP (on Unread) and also as a CD (on Jagjaguwar).

And finally, fans of Bill Jerpe and Jesse Neill Fleeman will be happy to hear that volumes 6-10 of the Singer-Songwriter series are at least being talked about over beers.
