Purpose of the Organization
The Mission of the American Baptist Men of the Central Region is to lead men and boys into a vital relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; to provide opportunities for fellowship and spiritual growth and development; to encourage men to be faithful in their relationships with their wives and families; to strengthen their support of and participation in their local churches and the overall mission of American Baptist at home and abroad.

American Baptist Churches of the Central Region
The American Baptist Men are an auxiliary organization of the American Baptist Churches of the Central Region under the Department of Local Church Life. The ABMen's president is a member of the American Baptist Churches of the Central Region Board of Directors.
Relationship of the Organization's Ministry
to the Region Statement
The ABMen strive to teach, promote and develop vital relationships with the Lord Jesus Christ among its members. The men's work at the local church level promotes the building of strong family units and active participation of its members at their local churches. This work provides a foundation for strong local churches that in turn can join together and unite under the framework of the American Baptist Churches of the Central Region.
Additional Information
The ABMen of the Central Region work in cooperation with our national men's organization, American Baptist Men Ministries, and the many other men organizations of other regions of our denomination towards our common goals.
ABMen of the Central Region have a number of annual events that all men are invited to participate in. Most of these events can be found on our Upcoming Events page. ABMen of the Central Region also supports a disaster relief program to assist those in need. Please visit our Disaster Relief Ministry web pages.
ABMen of the Central Region also provides scholarship money to the following American Baptist Institutions; Ottawa University, Ottawa, KS , Bacone College, Muskogee, OK , and Central Baptist Theological Seminary, Kansas City, KS .
