145.110 NM4W Cochran, GA

CGARC's NM4W is is located just off Ann St. in Cochran, Ga on the Bleckley County Water Tower. It consists of a modified Kendecom Mark 4 repeater and a ARCOM RC-210 repeater Controller. Power output is 25 watts, fed to a four-bay antenna. The repeater is open to all users, regardless of CGARC membership. The repeater is coordinated on 144.510/145.110 and has no PL. The repeater is linked to the 146.85 repeater in Warner Robins during our ARES Net on Monday evening at 7:00 PM and for our VHF net on Tuesday night at 8:30 PM. Users may also choose to link to the 146.85 at any time.
The 146.85 link ties the 146.85 repeater in Warner Robins with the 145.11 repeater in Cochran. The link is accomplished on the 440 MHz band using a pair of Motorola MaxTrac radios. The repeater operates in several different modes. Please become familiar with them the following:
The repeater transmits several reminders on a regular schedule. These reminders are intended to act as a service to CGARC members and other repeater users. These reminders are inactive in Net, WX and Power Failure modes.
