FULLY LOADED FAQ v2 4/3/02

This is the Fully Loaded FAQ. If you do not have a question relating only to a Fully Loaded card or Superstar then you are in the wrong FAQ. You should also read the General FAQ first for basic and general information.

SUPERSTARS:

  Chyna

Chyna can reverse any maneuver by discarding a maneuver of the same type (noting exceptions below).
Chyna ignores Fortitude requirements when using her ability.
Chyna cannot reverse a maneuver that is irreversible.
Chyna's ability is considered reversing from the hand, so any effects restricted or triggered by reversing from the hand will come into effect when she uses her ability. For example, she cannot reverse Claw or Dirty Low Blow, but she will trigger Running Lariat's effect and she will be able to use Set Him Up.
If she reverses a DISCUS PUNCH, the person playing the DP will take +2D.

TAG TEAM: Chyna can tag out when she reverses using her Superstar Ability, as she is reversing a maneuver from her hand.

 Kurt Angle

Angle is not affected in any way by a Critical Injury.

MULTIPLAYER: Angle's Intelligence Action special allows him to look at any opponent's hand at any time. The cards are not played face up on the table.

  Eddie Guerrero

It does not matter when Eddie plays the High Risk in his turn - as long as it is the first High Risk maneuver, it cannot be reversed.

  B.A. Billy Gunn

His ability is optional and can only be done on his turn.

Gunn can use his ability before the Draw Segment.

  Chris Benoit

Every maneuver you play in a turn will immediately do extra damage. The first maneuver played will do +1D, the second will do +2D, etc. It resets at the end of a turn.

Benoit's ability does not work for Reversals that do damage or maneuver/reversal hybrid cards used as Reversals. For example, playing a Crippler Crossface as a reversal will not do extra damage.

  Tazz

Tazz can only retrieve cards with the word "suplex" in the title. This does NOT include cards like Tazzplex or Superplex.

Tazz's -4F ability when playing suplexes happens automatically.

  Rikishi

Rikishi's ability does not break the chain of effects.

  X-Pac

X-Pac always draws 3 cards during his Draw Segment, but must discard one of them. If he cannot draw 3 cards, he draws what he can (i.e. he cannot be pinned this way, though he could be Counted Out at the end of the turn).

If he cannot draw 3 cards, he still must discard one.

  Road Dogg

Road Dogg may use his ability on his first turn, if he and his opponent are at 0F.

Road Dogg cannot use his ability before the Draw Segment.

ACTIONS:

Q: How does Kick Out work?
A: You have to take all the damage from a card and not overturn a reversal in order to use the Kick Out. You can then discard the Kick Out in order to end your opponent's turn. This is not considered a reversal. Note, this will stop an opponent from playing another card, like a High Risk or something.

Q: Can Comission-er Rules get rid of hybrid reversals?
A: Yes. Same for cards like Just Bring It!, which can get rid of Action hybrids.

Q: Can Table! Table! Table!  be cumulative?
A: Yes. As well as cards like Ladder In The Ring and Get Crowd Support.

Q: Does J.R. Style Slobberknocker stop me from using Mid-match Actions and/or cards that say "as a Mid-match action…"?
A: J.R. will stop Mid-match actions but cannot stop the use of Pre-match cards used as Mid-match actions because J.R. specifically says it affects Action CARDS, not cards that simulate Actions.

Q: If Benoit discards a card to Rabid Wolverine to keep his turn going then plays his third maneuver for that turn, will it get a +3D bonus?
A: Yes.

Q: How does Rabid Wolverine interact with Series Of Suplexes?
A: Using a Rabid Wolverine will continue your turn but you cannot discard a card to keep the Series Of Suplexes going. The chain of effect is broken.

Q: Can I use a Rabid Wolverine after a 4D or greater maneuver is reversed to keep my turn going then immediately play a High Risk move?
A: No, because you broke the chain of effects by discarding a card to Rabid Wolverine. This can also be applied to Edge's Million Dollar Smile.

Q: One more Rabid Wolverine question. If I had played Deluding Yourself, then played a maneuver that was reversed, when I discard a card to Rabid Wolverine, do I lose my entire hand?
A: No, since your turn is not over yet.

Q: Can I combine Bait Opponent with Ego Boost?
A: Yes, but make sure the Bait Opponent is played first. Ego Boost affects the next card played. Bait Opponent affects the next maneuver. So if you played Ego Boost first, you are only making the Bait Opponent -5F. This won't help you much. But if you played a Bait Opponent first then Ego Boost, if the next card played is a maneuver, then you can play it for -11F!

Q: If my opponent has a Title belt and I play Backed By Stephanie McMahon does he lose cards equal to the belt's bonus?
A: Yes.

Q: Does Let's Make Some Noise affect Road Dogg when he uses his ability?
A: Yes. In fact, Let's Make Some Noise has been errated (see below) to allow it to trigger anytime Road Dogg discards a card, for whatever reason. So, when Road Dogg uses his ability, Let's Make Some Noise will trigger. If he discards to a Half Hour Suplex, his ability will trigger, etc. This is opposite of Edge & Christian's Superstar ability which only triggers when they must discard a card.

Q: Can Inferno Match pin my opponent?
A: Anytime a player has to overturn cards for any reason and cannot, he is immediately pinned.

Q: Can I pin myself with an Inferno Match?
A: Yes. If you have no cards left in your Arsenal and you successfully play a card in the Ring, you are forced to overturn one card; if you can't you are pinned.

Q: Do I lose the top card of my Arsenal when playing a reversal from my hand and there is an Inferno Match in play?
A: Yes.

Q: When Inferno Match is on the table does Kane draw a card every time someone takes damage?
A: No. Kane only draws the one card when first playing the Inferno Match.

Q: If I'm playing Jericho and I have an Enter The Stratus-Phere in the Ring, can I discard ONE card to activate BOTH Jericho's ability and the Stratus-Phere?
A: No, for two reasons. You can't use a card to fulfill two costs. You also can't use Jericho's ability before you draw, which is when you have to discard to the Stratus-Phere.

Q: If my opponent has 0F and I have 6F - with a Kick and an Inferno Match in the Ring - and my opponent then plays Comeback, what happens?
A: You will lose the Kick, but since Comeback does not affect actions, you will stay with 1F.

Q: Can you explain when Time Keeper's Bell takes effect?
A: Using the new timing sequence, it happens at Step 8. As soon as the card is successful and before you apply any card effects, you can use the Time Keeper's Bell.

Q: Can I use a reversal or a High Risk maneuver with a Stare Down Opponent?
A: No. Yes, you can ignore the Fortitude, but you still need to meet the requirements of a card in order to play it. So you can't use Stare Down Opponent to play a High Risk move. Nor a reversal. It has to be a card that can be legally played, except you just ignore the Fortitude.

Q: Will a 9th Wonder Of The World be able to return a Mid-match maneuver to a player's hand?
A: No. Mid-match and Pre-match cards never go to the hand. If removed from the Ring, they go Ringside unless it specifically says otherwise.

Q: Can I play other Actions after playing a Turn The Tide and still get the irreversible bonus from it?
A: Yes. Turn The Tide affects the next maneuver you play.

Q: Do I use my Fortitude plus my opponent's Fortitude with a Turn The Tide?
A: No, you only used your opponent's Fortitude.

Q: Can Tazz use his ability after Turn The Tide?
A: Yes. If your opponent has 6F, you may Turn The Tide, then use Tazz's ability to play a Fisherman's Suplex: you'll only need 6F which is what you got.

Q: Can I choose 1 card when I play Do You Like Pie?
A: Yes, you may choose one, however, in some advanced situations, you may wish to choose more than one.

Q: If my opponent has Defensive Posture in his Ring and I play Get Crowd Support to raise the Fortitude Value of his reversals, can he still use the card?
A: Yes. As long as he had the Fortitude to play Defensive Posture to get it in to the Ring, he can discard it no matter how much you pump up the Fortitude requirement.

Q: If I play American Bad A%$ and Power Of Darkness, what would be the total fortitude need for my opponent to play an Escape Move?
A: Since American Bad A%$ has to be in effect first (if you played American Bad A%$ first then American Bad A%$, your turn would end and the POD would finish working). You would double the Fortitude first, then add +20. So an Escape Move would cost 20F to play (0x0+20=20).

REVERSALS AND REVERSING:

Q: What happens to my maneuver after playing a Ref KO'd in response to a Step Aside?
A: The maneuver is sent Ringside. The timing goes like this: You play a maneuver. I play a Step Aside. The maneuver is reversed and Step Aside stays in the Ring - like normal. But then you play Ref KO'd which allows you to continue your turn.

Q: If I overturn an Eye Rake to reverse a maneuver, will my next strike or grapple become irreversible?
A: No. Even though Eye Rake does not specify its effects as working only when playing it from the hand, neither does it explicitly break the rule that overturned reversals do no damage and have no special effects when overturned. So simply, Eye Rake's special irreversible effect does not trigger if it is overturned.

Q: Who can use That's Gonna Cost You!?
A: Only the active player. A card will indicate when the inactive player can use it.

MANEUVERS:

Q: Ok, then can I play a Kick, have it reversed, use the Rabid Wolverine and then play a high risk maneuver played after the 5D or greater maneuver?
A: No. This one falls mostly under the intent of playing cards immediately after another one. Also, since the card is reversed, we can say that the slate is wiped clean for previous maneuvers even if you can continue your turn.

Q: When a successfully play a Leg Drop, does my turn end before damage is dealt?
A: Normally, card effects take place before damage is dealt. In this case, the effect comes AFTER the damage. So you would do your damage and if not reversed, your turn still ends.

Q: What happens when a Trash Can is used from the Ring and is reversed while overturning for damage?
A: It goes to your Ringside pile.

Q: When hit with a Jaw Jammer when do I place my card on top of the Arsenal?
A: Remember, card effects take place before damage so you place the card first, then take damage: yes, you will lose that top card to overturning.

Q: If I slap a Maintain Hold on a Claw, can I search my opponent's Arsenal for 1 card while the Hold is in effect?
A: Yes. And, your opponent still won't be able to reverse the Hold from his hand.

Q: Let's say my opponent has a Fortitude of 10, with two Kicks in the Ring. I play a Jockeying For Position and choose to make my grapple maneuver add +8F to his Fortitude. Ok, I play the Drop Toe Hold, which if successful allows me to remove one card from his Ring. If he cannot reverse it from his hand, what happens?
A: If your opponent cannot reverse it from his hand you can remove one of his Kicks from the Ring, reducing his Fortitude to 5! Therefore, he will not be able to reverse a card while overturning, since he will need a minimum of 8F to reverse your grapple!
