IT'S ALL ABOUT THE GAME FAQ
v4 5/20/02

This FAQ contains answers to questions pertaining to the cards found in the It's All About the Game trash can. Please read the General FAQ for basic rule questions and Raw Deal information.

  TWO MAN POWER TRIP (2MPT)

Q: What does it means they can play or be affected by cards that affect Stone Cold or Triple H?
A: It means that if the TEXT of a card refers to either Triple H or Stone Cold, you will be affected as if playing Triple H or Stone Cold. For example: If you use a Neck Breaker on 2MPT, you get to look at their hand as if the player was playing Stone Cold.

Q: Can 2MPT play No Sell Maneuver or Over Sell Maneuver?
A: No. Remember, the 2MPT Superstar card counts as Stone Cold and Triple H. No Sell can only be played by certain wrestlers and Triple H is not one of them. Similar logic applies to Over Sell. Stone Cold cannot play Over Sell, hence the 2MPT cannot play Over Sell.

Here is a list of cards that refer to Stone Cold and Triple H in their text:

Neck Breaker
Brainbuster
No Sell Maneuver
Over Sell Maneuver
Amazing Display Of Power
I Did it For You

Q: The 2MPT Superstar card says it can play Triple H and Stone Cold foils. I have a promo Stone Cold Stunner, which is not a foil. Can they use this?
A: Promos finishers count as foils for this purpose.

Q: If Backlash decks are not used in a game, does the 2MPT ability to add 3 cards to their starting hands kick in?
A: No. Since no Backlash decks are used, there is no end of Pre-match phase. However, if at least one person is using a Backlash deck, then yes, they do draw 3 cards if appropriate.

Q: Can you describe how to use ...'Cause Stone Cold Said So!?
A: Well, first, it does not break the chain of effects. You can play a maneuver then discard this to play a High Risk maneuver you don't have the Fortitude to play, as long as the requirements are met from the previous card.

Q: If I am playing in a Tag Team Match using 2MPT, can my partner play Stone Cold or Triple H?
A: No. This applies to all tag team Superstars: you cannot play the tag team Superstar card and your partner play one of the individuals.

  BROTHERS OF DESTRUCTION (BoD)

Q: Can I play the Superstar foils of the Superstars represented by the BoD Superstar card?
A: Unlike the 2MPT card, you CANNOT use the Superstar foils of Kane, Undertaker and Deadman, Inc. To compensate for this, they have other abilities.

Q: But they are still affected by cards that reference them in their text?
A: Correct. If an Awesome Pyro is played by BoD, you will get to draw an extra card, because Awesome Pyro says that if played by Kane, you get to draw another card. Another example allows you to play Armageddon WWF Style at -10F because you are Undertaker in effect.

Here is a list of cards that refer to Taker or Kane in their text:

Inferno Match
American Bad Ass
No Sell Maneuver
Over Sell Maneuver
Armageddon WWF Style
Brothers 'Til The End
Awesome Pyro

Q: What does the stop sign + two-hands symbol on Throttled Within An Inch Of Your Life mean?
A: That is the new Restricted Modification Symbol. It means that no card may modify Throttled. Not your Power Of Darkness nor Get Crowd Support, etc., nor your opponent’s Brahma Bull or Running Lariat, etc. Also, the key word is “modify”: you can still reverse Throttled
as stated on the card or using cards like Backlash!, Defensive Posture, etc.

Q: When I play Throttled Within An Inch Of Your Life, if I turn over a reversal I can't play (maybe I don't have the fortitude), does that count as "an applicable reversal"?
A: No. It means you have to overturn 2 reversals that you would have been able to use to reverse the maneuver.

Q: So if I play Throttled and my opponent overturns two applicable reversals, is my turn over?
A: Yes.

Q: If he goes down to one card and does not reverse the Throttled, is my turn over?
A: No.

Q: Can I Over Sell a Throttled?
A: Yes you can, but you will still have to overturn 2 appropriate reversals or go down to one card in the Arsenal. The restricted modification symbol stops Over Sell’s ability to blank out the text of
Throttled. However, you will end the player’s turn.

Q: Can Throttled be removed from the Ring?
A: Yes. See the
RMS Document for more info.

Q: Does CHAINS OF DESTRUCTION work every turn? And if I played the card, do I have to overturn every turn?
A: Yes and yes, as long as it is in the Ring of course.

Q: Does Chains Of Destruction work every turn?
A: Yes, as long as it is in the Ring.

Q: Above you mention that the BoD can play Armageddon at -10F. What about the other text on that card that says, "If played in a tag team match, and your team consists of Undertaker and Kane, you may each draw 1 card." As BoD in a tag match, can I draw a card? And if so, do I draw 1 card or one each as Kane and Taker?
A: You can draw a card, but only one card.

Q: If I am playing in a Tag Team Match using BoD, can my partner play Undertaker, Deadman or Kane?
A: No. This applies to all tag team Superstars: you cannot play the tag team Superstar card and your partner play one of the individuals.

Q: Can Calling You Out bring out an opponent’s Mid-match card?
A: No, you can only bring out a Pre-match card. And you resolve it as if the player owning the card had played it himself.
